Title Agent

The Title Agent examines and abstracts title records to support surface and mineral acquisitions and confirm clean, marketable title. Responsibilities include researching county and courthouse records, preparing title reports and runsheets, identifying and resolving title defects through curative work, and preparing supporting documentation for title opinions in coordination with our attorneys and land team. Strong research and organizational skills and familiarity with chain of title, curative documents, and courthouse records are required; prior title abstracting or land title experience is preferred.

Land Agent

The Land Agent negotiates and secures surface, mineral, and easement agreements on behalf of our clients. Responsibilities include landowner outreach and negotiation, right-of-way and easement acquisition, courthouse research and due diligence, and coordinating with our title and GIS teams to keep projects moving. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a valid driver’s license are required; experience in land acquisition, right-of-way, or the energy industry is a plus. Regular travel within the project area is expected.
